Sharon Hull

Sharon Hull, 65, of Lubbock and veteran of the United States Navy, went to be with her Lord and Savior early Thursday morning, October 19, 2023.  Sharon was born on January 29, 1958, in Hale Center, Hale County, Texas, to Elsie “Margie” (Wagoner) Hull and the late Lawrence Floyd Hull.

She attended and graduated from Graford High School in 1977.  In a class of 17, she was the fifth in her class.  Later, she attended American Commercial College in Lubbock, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Business.  She joined the United States Navy, and was stationed in Keflavik, Iceland from 1979 to 1980, and in Norfolk, Virginia from 1981 to 1983, at which time she was honorably discharged.

Sharon loved to read everything and watch movies about most anything.  She and her mother were devoted members of Genesis Baptist Fellowship Church in Lubbock.

Those left to honor and cherish her precious memory include her mother, Elsie “Margie” Hull of Lubbock; one sister, Laura Wynne and her husband Calvin of Lubbock; one brother, Lawrence Carl Hull of Lubbock; two nieces, Amanda Dauntes of Canyon and Julee Cunningham and her husband Trent; two nephews, Caleb Hull and Heath Wynne of Lexington, South Carolina; four great nieces:  Calee Cunningham, Ellis Cunningham, Harper Cunningham and Harleigh Wynne; three great nephews:  Marshall Cunningham, Hudson Wynne and Matthew Chapman.  Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Floyd Hull; a sister, Penny Hull; grandparents:  Dub and Bertha Thompson of Kress, Nallie Wagoner of DeQueen, Arkansas, and Ira and Minnie Hull of Roaring Springs.

Celebration of Life services will be planned and announced later.

Sharon’s family asks that if anyone would like to remember Sharon that they donate in her memory to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
