Shawn Chastain

Shawn Chastain, 55, of Lorenzo, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2024. Shawn was born on July 7, 1969, in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, to the late Owen Thomas Chastain and Linda (Collins) Chastain. 

He attended Lorenzo High School and graduated with his senior class.

Shawn was a mechanic at heart, working on all kinds of vehicles, until his retirement in 2005. He loved riding his Harley motorcycles and playing pool. 

To cherish and honor his memory, he leaves behind one son, Garrett Chastain and his wife Lauren of Lubbock; one daughter, Tori Chastain of Abilene. He also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren, as well as a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per family wishes, there will be no services.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
