Shirley Raye Crozier

Shirley Raye Crozier of Lubbock passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the age of 76.  She was born August 21, 1938 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Hadley and Bernice (Henson) Burnett.  Shirley graduated from Hobbs High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree.  She married Bruce Lamar Crozier who preceded her in death on September 14, 2003.  The couple owned Crozier-Nelson Chemicals in Houston where she served as Vice-President until retiring.  Shirley was active in the Republican Women of Texas and member of the Second Baptist Church in Houston.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Crozier and wife Kimberly; daughters, Carla Foster and husband Jeff and Karen Becton and husband Steven.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Sunset Church of Christ.  Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. (CST), 2:00 p.m. (MST) at the Portales Cemetery in Portales, New Mexico.
