Sylvia Jean Moon, 80, of Lubbock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday morning, May 23, 2022. Sylvia was born on October 29, 1941, in Colorado City, Texas to the late Aris Leonard and Edna Maude (Phillips) Fowler.
Sylvia was a caring mom, sister and Meemaw who loved her family with all of her heart. She loved to watch "The Young & The Restless" and shared many stories with her sister Mary Ruth. Sylvia enjoyed popcorn while watching movies. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and faithfully attended her grandsons football games at Coronado High School. Sylvia loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her heart. She was a joy to many, and will be missed dearly by those who loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Harold Moon; daughter, Kim Williams and her husband Michael Williams; her sisters, Mary Shearer and Christine Britton; grandchildren, Gina Moon, Bradley (Victoria) Moon, Logan Moon, Brandon Moon, Brittney Weaver, and Chad Williams; and 12 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aris and Edna Fowler; sisters, Betty Marsh and Doris Harmison; and grandson, Matthew Williams.
