Tammie Lynn Maxwell

Tammie Lynn Maxwell of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the age of 51.  She was born May 24, 1962 in Odessa to Mevellee and Dorothy Upton.  Tammie worked in sales and was involved in helping others with A.A.  Tammie was very dedicated to her boys and taking care of her family which meant everything to her.  She enjoyed painting and drawing, fishing and being outdoors. Tammie was a very adventurous person who loved playing all kinds of sports and when she was younger she loved to water ski.  Tammie never met a stranger; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Matt and wife Kayla of Odessa and Chad and wife Gabrielle of Midland; mother, Dorothy Upton and one sister, Michelle Yost; nephew, Brandon and wife Kelsey and son Kye; niece, Amber and long time family friend, Zane Gray.

Tammie was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Wayne Ave Baptist Church.
