Teresa Peacock, age 74, passed away at her home in Lubbock, Texas, on Friday, October 27, 2023. Teresa was born in Knox City, Texas on August 7, 1949, to William and Edith Voyles. She lived a life of fun and a life of family. Teresa was a loyal daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, and friend.
Teresa was a graduate of Coronado High School in Lubbock and kept in touch with many of her friends. She was a dedicated worker and was often called a perfectionist by those that knew her. Teresa was a dedicated member of The Message Church in Lubbock and loved to attend The Message Women’s Bible Study with her Sunday School friends.
Family was important to Teresa, especially their Friday Night Family Fish Dinner. She was also an advocate for the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) and enjoyed working through struggles with those that attended.
Teresa was a Dallas Cowboys fan through and through, one walk through her home would show her unending faithfulness to the team.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband of over 35 years, Foney Peacock.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Connie Williams and Jill Williams; son, Tanner Peacock; Foney’s children, Trent Peacock, Desiree White, and Grant Peacock; granddaughter, RiAnna Williams; and great-granddaughters, Emirsyn Williams and Sadie Williams - Peacock
A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 2:00PM, at The Message Church, Pastor Mitch Wilson will officiate. The Message Church is located at 5502 Auburn Street, Lubbock, Texas 79416.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Message Church, or The ALS Foundation at donations@als.org.
