Terry Voll

Terry M. Voll (68) passed away August 8, 2022, after an illness and hospitalization.  He was born in 1953, to Frank and Lorene Voll in San Diego, CA. Terry grew up in Fletcher Hills and attended Our Lady Of Grace Catholic School in El Cajon CA. He graduated from Grossmont High School in 1972.

Terry loved camping in the desert and at the Colorado River, motorcycle riding and fishing. He built several Baja bugs and different off-road vehicles.  He worked as an auto mechanic and in fiberglass fabrication.  He had several unusual pets including snakes, an iguana, and a chameleon.

In 1991, Terry moved to Carlsbad, NM. where he worked as a mechanic at Ford Town for 20+ years and had many loyal customers. He retired as a master diesel mechanic.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Frank and his mother Lorene Voll. He leaves behind a brother John Voll and wife Kathy, a sister Mary Lou Williams and husband Mike, a niece Jennifer Hilgeman and spouse Kevin and sons Kayden and Theodore, a nephew John Martin Voll and spouse Meghan and son Waylon and nephew Michael Voll. He also leaves his dog Roscoe and many friends. Terry will be greatly missed.

Terry’s funeral mass and service will be held at 11:00 AM, October 13, 2022, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, El Cajon, CA. 92020.
