Tommy Jackson Waggoner III

Tommy Jackson Waggoner III, 70, of Ralls, TX, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Thursday, September 15, 2023. He was born on December 18, 1952, in Kermit, TX, to Lucille Hellen Kenny and Tommy Jackson Waggoner II.

Tommy married Janis Veillon on February 28, 1992, in Lafayette, Louisiana.

He served as a Peace Officer in the Army. Serving his country for four years.

Tommy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed drumming, walking and time spent with his family and pets. Fascinated with flight, Tommy got his pilots’ license and flew single engine planes as a hobby. Always a prankster, he had an infectious sense of humor and smile. He will be greatly missed.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Janis Waggoner of Hobbs, NM; four children, Cindy Rodgers, Clayton Waggoner, Nick Medicus and Lanie Anderson and four grandchildren, Ema Anderson, Madilynn Anderson, Garrett Rodgers, and Scarlett Waggoner.

He is preceded by his parents, Lucille Hellen Kenny and Tommy Jackson Waggoner II.
