Tracy Simonds

Tracy Lee Simonds, 69, of Lubbock, passed away on July 16, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.  Tracy was born on May 11, 1953, in Lubbock, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Simonds, Sr.

Tracy graduated from Plainview High School in 1972.  He worked as a used car salesman and baker. As a used car salesman, his favorite saying was “got the big deal bought.” In 1991, he married his loving wife, Sara Pohl Kelly.  Together, they raised one daughter, Leigh-Ann (Jud) Delone, and two sons, Christopher (Sarah) Kelly and Michael (Jessica) Kelly.  We would also like to pay tribute to his best friend, Gary Engel, and adopted adult daughter, Tanya Graves.

He is survived by his wife, children, 7 grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Simonds, Sr., and Charlene Woods Simonds Carlton, 5 heavenly grandchildren; brother James M. Simonds, Jr., and his stepfather, Dub Carlton.

The family requests memorial donations be made in Tracy's memory to a charity of one's choice.

There are no services planned at this time.  All flower deliveries need to be delivered to the family.
