Travis Dwaine Lovell was born on March 29, 1976 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Maxie and Karen (Torres) Lovell. He passed away suddenly on September 3, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 47.
Travis was raised in Sudan, Texas and graduated from Sudan High School in 1995. After high school Travis enrolled at South Plains College to study Automotive/Diesel technology. Travis moved to Lubbock, Texas after college where he would start his journey as a well respected diesel mechanic. In 2002 he received his pride and joy Jordyn Lovell.
Travis had a short but very fun and adventurous life. He knew how to just enjoy what life threw at him and he never stressed about the small stuff. He had the most contagious goofy laugh and always knew how to put a smile on your face. Some of his favorite things included going to the lake, fishing, video games or his phone videos, and being with the people he loved.
Travis is survived by his daughter Jordyn Lovell, his mother Karen Lovell, his sister Laci Lovell, and his nephew Judson Lovell all of Lubbock, Texas. His Aunts and Uncles include Linda and Stan Mannschreck, Sharon and Lynn Edwards, Jeanne and Charlie Torres, and Terry and Sherry Torres. As well as many other cousins, relatives, and friends who love and miss him so very much.
Travis is preceded in death by his father Maxie Lovell, his Grandparents Ernest Torres and Betty Torres Harvey, Hazel and Mack Lovell. Aunts Lois Jean Lovell, Imogene Lambert and Uncles Nick Lambert, and Tony Torres.
The family would like to invite family and friends for a Memorial Service on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Venue on Broadway Chapel at Combest Family Funeral Homes.
