Vanisa DeLeon

Vanisa DeLeon, 64, of Tahoka passed away October 20, 2024.

She was born in O'Donnell, Texas February 28, 1960. Vanisa was married to the love of her life Jesus DeLeon on October 1, 1977 in Tahoka. She dedicated her life to caring for her community as a CNA for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her family and playing bingo. 

Vanisa was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio Villanueva and Paula Benavides; and brothers, Eliot Villanueva and Osvaldo Villanueva.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus; sister, Veronica DeLeon; niece, Victoria DeLeon Rosas and husband Johnny; nephew, Phillip Gregg DeLeon and wife Jessica; grandnephews and grandnieces, Andrew Alvarez and wife Hannah, Mykeah DeLeon Bartley and husband Austin Bo, Nadalie Carrasco, Ahren Carrasco, Jacob DeLeon, Sean DeLeon, Phillip DeLeon, Jr. and wife Danalyn, Daxton DeLeon and Gracie DeLeon. 

A visitation will be held at Combest Family Funeral Homes, Tahoka, Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4pm-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Jude Catholic Church, Tahoka, Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10am with interment in Nevels Cemetery to follow.
