Gerald Wayne Clark, 82 of Lubbock passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born May 29, 1939 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Chester and Inez (Powers) Clark. Wayne graduated from Shallowater High School in 1957. He continued his education at LCC, where he was part of the first graduating class in 1959 with his Associates Degree in Agriculture. Wayne married his first wife Carolyn Rice in 1959, she preceded him in death in 1999. He enjoyed the outdoors and working as a farmer, he had a real passion for it. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, sitting on the combine, and any kind of project he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed traveling with family, traveling to places like New Zealand, Australia, and his last trip was to Israel.

He married Paula (Owen) Clark December 11, 1999 in Dumas. Together they enjoyed playing 88 a few times a week. Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of Quaker Ave. Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paula Clark; his children, Angie Clark; Brent Clark and wife Johnette; sibling, Sammie Simpson and husband Ted; grandchildren, EmmaLee Crawford and husband Mackey, BethAnn Clark, Patrick Middlebrook and wife Calli, Justin Middlebrook and wife Kalyn; great-grandchildren, IvoryAnn, BrentLee Mae, Lawson.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at Quaker Ave. Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at First Street Church in Dumas.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The Refuge, P.O. Box 473, Dumas, Texas 79029.
