Lubbock

Wesley Ray Williamson, a beacon of creativity and kindness, was born on September 19, 1970, in Albany, New York, and departed this world on December 17, 2024. In a final act of compassion, he chose to donate his organs, leaving a legacy of hope and life for others.

Wesley graduated from Coronado High School in 1989, where his vibrant spirit began to flourish. A true artist at heart, he honed his skills in airbrush painting and became a cherished local artist as the owner of Toonz Ink. His creativity extended beyond the canvas; he embraced life with a zest that included skateboarding, surfing, playing airsoft, hockey, and biking. He also found joy in creating YouTube videos and gaming, all while nurturing his deep connections with family and friends.

To those who knew him, Wesley was much more than a father; he was a guiding light. His unwavering love for his family—his wife, Ana, his beloved daughters Jenna and Vanessa, son-in-law Deaven Flores, and first grandchild, Ayden, his mother, Peggy, his sister, Kristena Goen and her husband James, his brother, Brian and his wife MaryAnn and countless other family members—was a testament to his character. Wesley always prioritized their happiness, often shielding them from his own struggles, reminding them to seek the good in every situation.

His warmth and sincerity wove a tapestry of lasting friendships, as he engaged with his clients not just as an artist but as a confidant, forging bonds that transcended the ordinary. The love that surrounded Wesley in life is a clear reflection of the impact he made in the community. He embraced everyone with open arms, offering unwavering support and always seeing the best in others.

Wesley now reunites with his father, Charles Ray Williamson, and his cherished grandparents, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will live on through the countless memories and lives he touched, a reminder that the light of one can illuminate many.
