Ethel Parr of Lubbock passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the age of 76. She was born February 19, 1937 in Rush Springs, OK to Henry and Euria (Kendrick) Agee. She married Teddy “Ted” Ray Parr on November 5th, 1960 in Lubbock. Ethel was a fan of the Astros & the Lubbock - Cooper Pirates. She loved watching her children & grandchildren play sports and never missed any of their activities. She especially loved family gatherings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifty three years, Ted; three sons, Kevin Parr and wife Heather of Friendswood, TX, Kent Parr and wife Edna and Kyle Parr all of Lubbock; two sisters, Alma Foster of Chickasha, OK and Mary Sanders of Marlow, OK; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Taylor, Brianna, Aaron, Andrew and Lilliana.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 with family receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Combest Family Oak Crest Suite. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014 at South Plains Church of Christ, 6802 Elkhart Lubbock, TX. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens.
